We’ll explore the patterns that often show up around school time, including anxiety, shutdown, and escalation, and look at how certain responses - despite being well-intended - can unintentionally keep the cycle going.
This Deep Dive is hosted by Laura Neal and Rachel Evans, who bring together extensive experience in trauma-informed family support. Laura Neal has extensive experience supporting children with complex needs and the parents and carers supporting them at home. Rachel Evans’s work focusses on supporting children and their families, as well as working directly with schools to help them better understand and respond to children’s needs.
Together, Laura and Rachel create a supportive, non-judgemental space where understanding replaces blame and adults feel more confident in how they respond.
